LIFE IS DONE BETTER TOGETHER.
Mosaic Minis is the children’s ministry at mosaic church (for ages 2-5). It is an interactive, Scripture-based ministry that incorporates sermons, music, coloring, games, crafts, skits, snacks and much more! We want to create an environment where children are encouraged to worship because no child is too young to know and love Jesus.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” (Jeremiah 29:7)
To utilize events, conversations, prayer and everyday life to share Christ with the town. To see more and more people come to know Jesus and in turn reach out to other local neighbors. To make Norwood and Northvale Christ loving cities.
To bring the message of Jesus Christ and His gospel to the towns and cities most immediate to Mosaic: Norwood, Northvale and other towns. To create disciples who live lives of Christian worship, nurture and missions from our local towns.
Currently, there are two local outreach ministries:
Buckingham Senior Center in Norwood is a ministry to our seniors in our community once a month on Sunday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM.
Rockland Children's Psychiatric Center is a ministry to children facing brokenness in their life every other week on Sundays from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. For more information regarding RCPC, please click here.
“Mosaic Discipleship is a mentor-disciple ministry that seeks to help men and women grow in the faith. In relationships, discipleship ministry pairs up Christians with older Christians to make disciples for the sake of Christ.”
"In our journey of discipleship, we must be Intentional, Committed and Personal in our approach."
Without a clear intention or purpose, meetings may dissolve into aimless chatting. Our meetings will revolve around a clear purpose and members are asked to actively participate with all their will.
Commitment is the key to any growth. Upon signing up, we ask each member to sacrificially prioritize weekly meetings.
We commit to one school year of discipleship
Our meetings will be conducted on a one-to-one basis to maximize personal care and nurturing. All things discussed between the partners will be kept confidential.
FORMAT AND APPROACH
Mosaic discipleship follows the school-year schedule. The mentor and disciple meet up and work together from September to May. The frequency is determined by the mentor. After the school year, the mentor prays to decide whether the disciple is prepared and ready to disciple someone else. If ready, the disciple will become a new mentor. If the disciple needs another year, the mentor will continue one more year with the disciple.
Pastor Dave provides guidelines and resources to help mentors decide what teaching and material would be best for each particular mentor and disciple. There are guidelines and resources but there is also flexibility. Each mentor and disciple should decide on the material that is specific to the need of the pairing. Pastor Dave and the other mentors provide support to help all the mentors with theological, spiritual and practical help.
The goal is to make disciples of this nation as Jesus has called us. Mosaic desires to move beyond simply gathering people on Sundays for worship. Discipleship is the primary call of the church and this program is one of our ways to finish His Great Commission.
